Homework... it's silly, isn't it? It's like teachers think you have free time. You don't have any need or desire for a social life. You would rather spend your nights making descriptive arguments about unimportant issues instead of curling up to a nice movie or baking a batch of cookies. Sometimes you face the early hours of the morning and you make the decision not to do part of your homework to get a decent enough night's sleep... but is your health an excuse for neglecting to do your work? Of course not!
Sometimes you walk into school and you see students unable to open their eyes, wearing mismatched socks, slouched over a cup of coffee. Don't teachers see this? The average high schooler gets at most 6.5 hours of sleep out of a recommended 9.5. Tonight, If I wanted to get that much sleep I would have to fall asleep at 9:00, sounds a little early, right?
